Nora had a busy day today! This morning she combined her regular sun bath with with her first tub bath. We figured it was time to wash the 3 weeks of kiss build-up off of her sweet little head. She didn’t do too well with some previous sponge baths, so I was nervous about how she’d react to being immersed. All for naught, she loved it! She did express some dismay when I had to remove her in order to get the cap off of the bath gel bottle. (She’s too little to lay in the tub unsupported.) I’ll have to make sure I remove the cap beforehand for her next session!
Nora also went on another walk today up to the mailbox. We were provided with some smaller and much more portable O2 tanks which made things so much easier! Nora got to meet lots of neighbors while we were out.
Here are some pictures from today:
Sing to the Lord, for he has done glorious things; let this be known to all the world. (Isaiah 12:5 NIV)
Still smiling from today Aleisa … Ur daughter is an angel of love. Blessings for a cozy slumber π

Hi Alesia,
My name is Jenny and I’ve been following your story since Nora was 6 days old. This is my first comment…sitting here at 2 am (can’t sleep) cup of tea in hand and all teary watching you bathe your tiny little miss. Oh these sweet, simple little moments…witnessing the absolute joy that you find in every minute with your beautiful girl is both touching and inspiring. What a family you all are and you…such and amazing woman and mama. I too chose adoption for my firstborn and only daughter nearly 23 years ago and I have two sweet boys with me now. The strength, courage and love that you have inside of you is something else, lady! You are all in my thoughts and prayers every day and I love checking in on your sweet Nora from over here in MA. Sending warm, good, positive thoughts your way.

Hi there I have been following your babys blog everyday since I found it a couple weeks ago although I don’t have the same genetic disorder that your baby has I was also told as a baby I was not going to live and now I am 18 years old
it looks like her little cheeks are filling out and she is doing great. still praying for you all!
I am so glad you had to take her out to get the cap off because hearing her sweet voice for the first time made my day. I am invested in this little missionary of hope! Thanks for sharing her first splash!
Oh my goodness! I just love her little self! Thanks for sharing this sweet video. She is the sweetest miracle. GO NORA GO!!!!!!
Those extra chromosomes can do some amazing things! Nora is wonderful. We’ve never met but I think of your family daily.
I so enjoyed watching this video and listening to little Nora Rose’s little squeeks, cooing, etc. She enjoyed her bath so much. Thanks for sharing this sweet time with the rest of us. Prayers continue daily for you and all.
I wanted to tell you that I found your blog today and it was just what I needed. I was feeling depressed about how much evil there is on Earth and scared for the future, wondering why Christ doesn’t come back now. But your blog reminded me that for all the evil, there is so so SO much good! God never forsakes his people, and He has blessed us all so much. I should not question God and his merciful plan. Your daughter is one of His blessings, and your beautiful words give me hope. Your love for your daughter is amazing and so inspiring, and I marvel at the strength God has given you. Nora and you and your family will be in my prayers. God Bless! And thank you!!
