A couple of days ago I noticed a posting from one of my neighbors on our neighborhood Facebook page. Her garden flag had blown away in one of the wind storms. She gave a brief description of it and asked the neighbors to keep an eye out for it. I didn’t immediately note the significance of what was on the flag until Thursday afternoon when I was out in the backyard cleaning up recycling bin escapees. On my second trip down the hill I saw the face of a little penguin on a piece of cloth that was caught up in some bramble. I knew right away that it was E’s flag! As I dusted it off I noticed the THREE penguins on the flag and smiled with tears in my eyes. It had been a particularly rough morning of feeling sad and discouraged yet here I was with a blatant reminder that God is right here with me even on the cold and messy days. OF COURSE, I was the one to find this flag!

We tried giving Nora some Activia yogurt in her bottle. She made it very clear that 1) she was on to our tricks and 2) she WASN’T having it!!!
Thank you all for the other probiotic sources that you mentioned on the Praying for Nora page! We’ve got some more tricks up our sleeve now. Hopefully one works!
Family movie night last night! π See Nornor sleeping at the end of the couch? π
Beautiful post. I love how God works and moves. Happy Superbowl Yuskos! π
Wow, amazing story. God is so good.
Love the family pic of all of you watching the movie ( the cat is missing; where is the caaaatttt???). Happy Sunday !!. Muuuaahhh
Don’t bother with the yogurt. Just buy some probiotics in capsules and empty one of them into her formula. Give a little shake and she’ll be less likely to notice than the yogurt. Forgive me if I’m repeating what someone else said as I didn’t read the other comments. Hope Nora’s feeling better soon!
I haven’t read the other probiotic suggestions..and I’m sure baby taste buds are different than toddler’s..but have you tried DanActiv probiotic shots? They come in little 3 or 4 oz bottles-4 or 8 to a pack. Various flavors. My husband and I drink one every morning. When the grandkids are here, we have to buy extras because they love them. I have never seen capsules, but that was a good suggestion, too.
Wow–love LOVE the flag story! Again, another amazing sign and Godwink.
Hoping that Nora’s stomach is doing better now too!
GOD WORKS IN MYSTERIOUS WAYS, BUT A FLAG, WHO WOULD HAVE THOUGHT WHEN THE FLAG WAS FOUND IT WOULD BE 3 OF ANYTHING!!!! OF COURSE GOD HAD YOU FIND IT, HE KNEW IT WOULD BE THE RIGHT THING FOR YOU AT THE RIGHT TIME. PRAISE GOD FOR HIS MANY BLESSINGS. I LOVE THAT PICTURE OF THE FAMILY ON MOVIE NIGHT. YOU ALL LOOKED LIKE YOU WERE ENJOYING THE MOVIE AND THE TIME TOGETHER. WHAT A BEAUTIFUL FAMILY AND LOVED BY SO MANY. NORA IS SO USE TO HER MILKIES, SHE MIGHT HAVE A HARD TIME ADJUSTING TO ANY OTHER FLAVOR. EXCEPT MAYBE A SUCKER!!!!! HA! HA! GLAD TO BE BACK IN THE SWING OF CHECKING IN ON YOUR FAMILY EVERY NIGHT NORA. HOPE YOU ALL GET A REALLY GOOD NIGHT’S SLEEP TONIGHT, AND WAKE UP GOOD AND RESTED. LOVE YOU ALL. GOOD NIGHT AND GOD BLESS.
Just saw this post– its been awhile since I’ve been online– and we use these probiotic drops for our little ones! The drops are so convenient and work really well! Here’s the website. They are over the counter and pricey, but they are covered on our insurance with a prescription.
