It’s going on midnight and Little Miss has finally dozed off. She was in rare, terribly unhappy form this evening which evolved into a series of dirty diapers and “shark” infested baff waters. Poor girl was full of stinkies!
I have no idea how long she’s going to stay asleep, so I’d better quickly follow suit or I might get nothin’.
Here are pictures from this weekend:
One of Santa’s helpers came to babysit Nornor while we went up to our neighbor’s annual Christmas soirée! Gavin figured out right away that he wasn’t really Santa!
No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 8:39 NLT)
Merry Christmas sweet Nora! Feel better.
My son had incredibly bad colic and the only saving grace for us was my mom’s old school trick. Take fresh fennel seed and boil it to make a tea out of it. Once it cools down add just a tinge of sugar to make it taste better. We’d give my son maybe 1 ounce of it either before his bottle (if he was really struggling) or after a smaller bottle if he was just having a hard colic day. I swear to god it worked everytime – the fennel calmed him and he’d have a rather large BM that would settle his stomach for hours. The relaxing element of the tea also helped him sleep which he was missing also b/c of the pain in his belly.
100% doctor approved and encouraged for us. If you look at colick potions in stores they tend to have chammolie or fennel in them, this is a cleaner version since you make it at home and control it.
Love that little girl! ❤
LOVE THE PICTURES. THAT WAS AWFUL NICE OF SANTA TO COME AND WATCH NORA SO YOU COULD GO TO YOUR ANNUAL PARTY. HOPE YOU GOT SOME SLEEP. LOVE AND PRAYERS TO YOU ALL.
