We’re finally home from the hospital just in time to celebrate Nora’s TWO WEEK birthday! The heavens celebrated by installing a beautiful rainbow in the sky:
We’re pretty exhausted from our long extended weekend, so I don’t have much to write about tonight. Nora is doing very well so far and we haven’t had any complications with the oxygen.

OUR ELECTRIC WENT OUT FOR SEVERAL HOURS TODAY AND I COULD NOT WAIT FOR IT TO COME BACK ON. BACK ON AFTER 12:00 AM. FIRST THING I DID WAS RUN TO MY COMPUTER, COULD NOT WAIT TO READ YOUR POST FOR TODAY. I AM SO THANKFUL THAT MY PRAYERS WERE ANSWERED. LITTLE NORA IS HOME WITH THE FAMILY THAT LOVES HER SOOOO MUCH. I AM SO THANKFUL SHE IS DOING GOOD, AND NO PROBLEM WITH THE OXYGEN. LOVE THE PICTURES. GET A GOOD NIGHT SLEEP AND YOU AND YOUR FAMILY WAKE UP IN THE MORNING WITH THE LITTLE BUNDLE OF BLESSING THAT GOD HAS GIVEN YOU. LOVE YOUR FAMILY, AND PRAYING GOOD DAYS AHEAD.
Nora is such a beautiful little girl! (She resembles my Lilly who lived for 17 months with Trisomy 18.) It’s obvious Nora is a little fighter. 🙂 I am so glad to see you have such a strong faith in God. After all we’ve been through, I can NOT imagine not having God to lean on. Treasure every day and take lots and lots of pictures! 🙂 I am praying for you all. And praying that God will continue to bless Nora’s life and you will have a lot of time with her. She is a glory to Him!

Even though we are complete strangers (I found your blog via a friend on facebook and have been following for a while now), I feel the need to just tell you that I am praying for you. I have a Nora as well who is 3 and we added your Nora to our prayers each night. You are so strong, much stronger than I think I could be. My mother came over to tell us about her friend’s daughter with T18 today. SHe is 6 years old and the little girl who supposedly would never walk chases after her baby brother. Be encouraged! You continue in our prayers

As I hold my own baby girl (born April 5th ), you so beautifully remind me how precious life is and in this very moment….we are called to fully live. He gives us “now”, what a gift!

I just started reading this a couple days ago yet I find myself thinking of you throughout the day. Wondering how Nora is and checking my phone for an update. Your strength and faith are so unbelievable! I was just driving home and the song “All of me” by Matt Hamitt came on the radio. Ive loved this song since it came out but today I heard it in such a different way. It fits you so perfectly. You are and will continue in my prayers:)

Just found your blog and I am loving the pictures of your family, especially your sweet baby girl. I have to take second glances because your Nora reminds me so much of our Lulu Grace. Isn’t it amazing the gifts God gives us? They are truly beautiful treasures. Praying for a miracle. {Job 5:9}
