For the Good

False
Evidence
Appearing to be
Real

Even on the easiest of days fear tries to creep in. It’s a little easier to recognize it for what it is now that I’m so familiar with it. It takes a very deliberate effort to squash it before it starts breeding and infesting my joy. I don’t want to live like that because I know there is a better way. I know I am doing absolutely everything I can to ensure Nora’s well-being. Everything else is completely out of my control. To finally realize that (over and over and over and over and over again) is very freeing. I trust that whatever it is that God has planned is for our good. His love never fails!

Here are pictures from yesterday and today ~

Nana & Papa came to visit and brought a delicious dinner. The big kids got to spend the night at their house since they didn’t have school the next day!

And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.

  1. I have never commented before but have been following since before your precious baby was born. So this brings me to why I am writing tonight….. I saw the cutest little outfits today on southern tots Facebook page with three birds on them. They are precious and I thought of you 🙂

  2. LOVE that angel & LOVE what you said about fear – I so love the way you wrote about it. Hugs and blessings to you & your family.

  3. Oh my goodness – Nora’s sweetness is beyond words!!! What is it about this precious little bundle of love? I get so much joy from seeing the pictures each night or morning – thank you. Keeping you all in our prayers!!

  4. She’s so beautiful–getting bigger every day. I follow along but I don’t think I’ve commented but maybe once before. Just wanted to say that me & my 2 sisters are some of the many praying for Nora and your family! Love and blessings!! ❤

  5. NORA IS DOING SOOOO GOOD!!!! LOVE THE WAY SHE CAN HOLD HER HEAD UP REALLY WELL. THAT IS QUITE A BIG STEP LITTLE GIRL. EACH AND EVERY DAY I THINK OF YOU AND YOUR WHOLE FAMILY. 6. It’s a grey and rainy day here and Nornor is the sun that brightens up my day !!. Love seeing all her progress , how she holds that sweet head up and how she rolls over; how she seems more alert and engaged playing with her toys ; how she looks at her Mommy and recognizes Dad; how she eats her , ahem, “beloved” rice cereal …lol
Omg, this baby is becoming a big girl !!!
    Muuaahh 🙂

  7. How wonderful seeing Nora hold her head up. She is an amazing baby who is full of firsts that we love to see.
My thought on the first cereal taste was “Mom keep it coming, you are too slow!” Hope she is doing well with it and her body is adjusting to it. Maybe she will even sleep better. . . Hugs!

  8. You are an inspiration to all the moms out there….many people walk away from fear…you and your family face it head on. Thank you continuing to give us hope in this often dark world. You are a wonderful mom. God bless you and your family!
