To make up for the infrequent updating I have a slew of cute, sweet photos from the past few days!
Starting with this one that was taken in the middle of the night during one of Nora’s milkies interludes. I’d just come back to her after I went to get rid of a stinky diaper and she was wearing this hat that she got from her cousins in Texas!! I’m running low on sleep, but I KNOW I didn’t put a hat on her while I was changing her diaper or after! The only thing I can think of is that it was laying right next to her head and she must have wiggled perfectly into it? Or maybe Nora and her angels are playing tricks on Mommy! It was very comical to come back literally seconds later to find her wearing a My First Christmas hat–on Christmas night, no less!
“It’s fun playing tricks on Mommy!”
Greta is loving her new loft bed! I hope I’ll be just as excited about changing the sheets on it (ehrhemmm). Maybe I’ll just let our “cleaning elf” take care of that. Speaking of elves, if you look closely under Greta’s pink Christmas tree you will see a freshly bathed little elf who was on her way back downstairs with her Mom.
We woke up Thursday morning to some more snow! Of course the big kids wanted to go out to “play” in it (i.e. run across the yard a couple of times, make a few snow angels, and then hurry back in because they’re cold 5 minutes later!) Fortunately last year’s unused snowsuits still fit. For the time they were out there they probably could have stayed in their pajamas and saved Muthr a whole lot of troubles!! *wink* None the less, they were ushered back into the warm house and compensated with urgent servings of hot chocolate.
“That doesn’t look like very much fun for babies.”
“I’ll be in the baff if anyone needs me.”
“Or I like playing with my nubby ball that Santa brought me! I love playing with my sister!”
“It sure is sweet when I wake up squealy!”
“Okay. Shhhhh!!! I’m going to sleep now!”
I will give thanks to the Lord because of his righteousness; I will sing the praises of the name of the Lord Most High.

Lol, Aleisa, I’m cracking up. When I read “she was wearing a hat that her cousins from TX sent her “, thought you had found her wearing a cowboy hat !!. Ok, just woke up and it seems I can’t think logically …;)
Ahem, I’m afraid you will spend quite time in heights with the new loft bed and taking down the Christmas tree ( aka the Tree-mendous) 😉
Beautiful pics as always. Love this baby girl.
Have a wonderful weekend!. Hope the snowstorm is not hitting very hard there…
Those arm rolls on Nora are killing me! 😀 I noticed them in her beautiful red dress Christmas pictures and then when I saw them again in this post I HAD to comment. Totally adorable. You must kiss her a million times a day.
Also, I am SUPER impressed that the loft bed is already assembled and inhabited. Nothing happens that fast around our house! LOL
