Beautiful end to a beautiful day!
Wednesday
Nora’s nasal cannula was due for a change. I love her sweet naked little cheekies without her “accessories” and had to get tons of pictures and video!! She has been the sweetest, happiest baby since she’s gotten over her germs!! I’m absolutely loving her contagious joy and must share:
I could just sit there and sniff her all day long. If only this blog were “scratch and sniff” you’d totally understand!
Today was the first day of Christmas vacation / winter break for the big kids. It’s going to be a challenging next couple of weeks! We are planning to see the Awaited show at our church one night this week, which they are really, really looking forward to! I highly recommend seeing it if you’re in the Greater Cincinnati area. It’s of course free of charge and a top notch performance. It’s not hokey at all. Go to Crossroads website for more information. If there are no (free!) tickets left go anyway. You will not be turned away! You can also download free Christmas music from the show on their website if you are so inclined. Unbelievably talented musicians at this church!
Other than that I need to get creative and extra caffeinated over these next few days to keep kids occupied or Santa might just skip our house this year with all the teasing and bickering going on!
I will praise the Lord, who counsels me; even at night my heart instructs me.
I keep my eyes always on the Lord. With him at my right hand, I will not be shaken. (Psalm 16:7, 8 NIV)
Such a doll baby!! She looks like such a normal baby to me. God Bless you for carrying this angel! Many blessings for staying well.
PS – baby smell NEVER gets old! Kenny Chesney has a song on a Christmas CD called Thank God for kids. “When you look down in those trustin’ eyes that look to you, you realize it’s love that you can’t buy, thank God for kids”. (Personally, my kids laugh at the part in the song about kool-aid on the couch!)
Hopefully they won’t be like Uncle Joe and Keith…. the Bicker Brothers… who are still like that to this day….
Such a beautiful blessing to me! Always love hearing her squeals – I think she’s gonna be a singer mommy ๐
Psalms 16 Is my go to Scripture. It’s message has guided me through not only Kamryn’s stay in the hospital but throughout life. Pretty Nora.
what a beauty! what a blessing!
LOVE! Thanks for sharing these moments. As a Mom, I know that some days/moments are not always so glorious and tidy but these baby moments are just delightful and make the hot mess moments easier to forget. ๐
OH BABY DOLL NORA ROSE, YOU ARE SUCH A BEAUTIFUL LITTLE GIRL. LOOKS LIKE SHE DID GOOD WITHOUT HER OXYGEN FOR AWHILE. HER LITTLE CHEEKS ARE SO CHUBBY AND ADORABLE WITHOUT ALL THE TUBING. (OF COURSE THEY ARE WITH THE TUBING TOO.) I LOVE THE WAY SHE TALKS TO YOU WITH HER LITTLE SQUEALS. I LOVE THE TWO PICTURES OF YOU AND NORA. SHE IS SUCH A BLESSING TO SO MANY PEOPLE. ALTHOUGH SHE IS JUST A LITTLE BABY, SHE HAS BROUGHT A LOT OF PEOPLE BACK TO GOD. SHE PROBABLY HAS MORE F.B. FRIENDS THAN ANYONE ON F.B. GUESS IT IS NOT REALLY F.B., BUT THAT’S WHAT I CALL IT. SO, SO, SO HAPPY THAT SHE IS FEELING SO MUCH BETTER. BET YOU CAN’T WAIT FOR CHRISTMAS MORNING. THIS IS GOING TO BE ONE VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS. I NOTICE I HAVE ONE MORE BLOG TO READ, SO GUESS I WILL MOVE FORWARD. LOVE TO ALL, AND GOD BLESS.
