It was one of those mornings where I was trying soothe Nora with a bath, take a shower, brush my teeth and hair, give Nora her medicine and a bottle, get dressed, and clean up the kitchen all at the same time. Add to that, I needed to somehow get to Bible study by 9:30. It seemed like I should have some quick-paced, old fashioned piano music as the soundtrack such as in silent films. I somehow managed to get it all together, walking in only minimally late (I think?). It was, of course, another great message and I was so glad to have put forth the effort of getting there–even if my hair was still wet and hurriedly tied back in a bun!
Nana and Nora hung out for the day. Nora’s cold is still lingering on. Hopefully the breathing treatments are helping her. She’s in GREAT spirits otherwise and had a terrific day of milkies intake! Here are pictures from today:
Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.

I was heartbroken that I missed the interview last night, and for whatever reason, I couldn’t watch the video at home on the WCPO site. This morning at work, however, I followed your link and it worked just fine. = ) Thanks for posting it…you did beautifully! I remember so well seeing those first photos with Nora and the raw emotions…I couldn’t help but cry, and I knew very little of your story then. Praying your sweet little Miss gets over her cold soon. Impossible to look at that precious face and not smile. Grace & peace…
Good morning Miss Nora and mommy. Just love to see you soaking in the tub surrounded by lots of bubbles and smiling. It saddened me to see her with the mask for the breathing treatments but I know they work wonders. My prayer is that this will be very short term and her breathing will return to normal. Enjoy the bath time and bottle time and playing with your brother and sister. You have a precious family.
LOVE THE PICTURES TODAY. SOUNDS LIKE YOU NEEDED ROLLER SKATES ON TO GET EVERYTHING DONE BEFORE BIBLE STUDY. THE BREATHING APPARATUS ON NORA’S LITTLE FACE LOOK SOOOO BIG. ALL I CAN SAY IF IT DOES THE JOB, USE IT, USE IT, USE IT!!!! PRAYING THAT THE COLD DOES NOT HANG AROUND TOO LONG. BUT WE KNOW OUR HEAVENLY FATHER IS WATCHING OVER HER, SO SHE WILL BE FINE IN NO TIME. LOVE THAT BIG SMILE NORA GIVES YOU ALL THE TIME, AND LOVE HER WITH THE BUBBLES ALL AROUND HER. HOPE NORA AND THE REST OF HER WONDERFUL FAMILY IS HAVING A GREAT DAY. UNTIL TOMORROW, GOD BLESS EACH AND EVERY ONE OF YOU GUYS. LOVE AND PRAYERS COMING YOUR WAY.
Beautiful pictures…and wonderful job on TV9,
Please excuse the nurse in me. The aerosol mask for Nora is too for her face. You might want to ask for a dinosauer mask. If that is too big try a turtle mask. You will get a better seal and she will get more medicine in her lungs.
I love reading your posts and seeing Nora’s progress
* too BIG for her face
