Hi, it’s me Nora! I guess 3 am is officially “tomorrow”! I’m up for a feeding so I figure I’ll update while I’m awake!

Yesterday I had a nice day with my Mommy.

These boogies sure are taking their time about getting out of my nose!

But I'm in good spirits!

It was nice to get back to the 'gym'!

I feel like I haven't worked out in forever!

Check out the THREE LITTLE BIRDIES around my head (those are the only 3 on the whole mat!)

Nothing like a warm soak after a tough work out!

Nana came over and stayed with me for awhile while Mommy finally got her hair 'did'.
When Mommy got home Gavin and Greta put the final touches on her hair and gave her a total makeover.

GOOD MORNING, I AM ALSO UP, BUT NEVER BEEN TO BED YET. WE MUST BE ONE HOUR BEHIND YOU. IT IS 10 MIN. TILL 3 A.M. NOW HERE. I LOVE ALL THE PICTURES THIS MORNING. I CANNOT BELIEVE HOW BRIGHT EYED NORA IS AT THIS EARLY HOUR. SHE IS REALLY GROWING, AND OF COURSE SHE IS SO BEAUTIFUL. AFTER GAVIN AND GRETA PUT THE FINISHING TOUCHES ON YOUR HAIR, IT TURNED OUT GORGEOUS. YOU ARE AMAZING, GET WOKE UP OUT OF A GOOD SLEEP, AND THE FIRST THING YOU DO IS LET EVERYONE KNOW ABOUT YOUR DAY. OF COURSE THAT WAS AFTER NORA GOT HER MILKIES. I LOVED THE THREE BIRDS AROUND NORA’S LITTLE HEAD, THAT LOOKS SO CUTE. SO NICE OF YOUR MOM TO COME AND STAY WITH NORA SO YOU COULD GO GET YOUR HAIR DONE. GUESS I WILL GO TO BED NOW, AND GET SOME SHUT EYE. HOPE YOU AND NORA CAN FINISH YOUR BED TIME AND GET A LITTLE BIT MORE SLEEP. LOVE YOU ALL. GOOD NIGHT AND GOD BLESS.
I loved the “working out” comment. Our baby son is 3 months old and he has chubby little arms and legs. I joke that he has “big muscles.” We have a skinny little toddler and I think her arms are about as big as our baby’s :-).
So very glad that Nora is doing so well and is so bright and chipper. May God continue to bless her and all of you powerfully. Rest when you can, wonderful mama!

I read your blog daily, looking forward each morning to all the sweetness that is Nora. I am a mother of three babies, 8, 6, 1, and one angel baby. I’ve suffered loss, the sudden and tragic death of a sister, the loss of my sweet baby. I find strength, inspiration, and peace in your words and photos. I smile when reading your stories about your kiddos, as your love for them is so strong I can feel it in the room with me even when reading the words on my tiny phone screen. Even on the days where you type just a few sentences, or let your frustrations spill out, your love, dedication, and compassion can be felt all over the world. They are like hugs from God, ones that say, it’s okay to FEEL, to hurt, to smile, to walk on despite the struggles put on us. I also find a connection in that “3” is a significant number my family has embraced as a sign that my sister is with us. My son told me (in his oh so wise and innocent 4 year old words at the time) when I lost our baby that Aunt April was with our baby in Heaven. When I told him that I could picture her rocking her in her arms, he said, “No, God is holding her, Aunt April is standing with Him, watching over her.” He used to tell us that God spoke to him and would tell him things we couldn’t hear because he had special “God ears” and he said, don’t worry, he told me Aunt April is going to come back to live her life again as a baby. One year ago, I had our third child, a sweet baby girl, and somehow the nickname “Birdie” stuck. I feel like somehow I was steered/guided to your page, and can’t help but feel that your three birdies are a definitely a message from God that all will be as it should be and that He is with us always. I will forever picture and send up a special prayer for Nora when I spot three birdies. Thank you for sharing your sweet blessings, scripture, and feelings with us. Nora, along with the rest of your family, are always in my heart and forever in my prayers. Love to you all…
