Not only did Gavin and Greta start school this week, but now it’s their birthdays bookshelving the weekend. This week of August is almost worse than Christmas for us. There is lots of planning, parties and presents all over the place. Needless to say, we’ve been a little busy over here! Things should settle down again in a couple of days, at which point I will have the time and energy to write more. Nora is doing very well and is as sweet as ever! Cardiologist appointment Thursday morning.
Yes, my soul, find rest in God; my hope comes from him. (Psalm 62:5 NIV)

She’s so tute!!! Happy Birthday to Greta & Gavin!
Hi Sweet Nora and your Mommy, too! ; )
It’s the crazy Jesus Freak lady. I stop by every single day, but I don’t leave comments. Sorry! But, Girlfriends, I think about you both and pray up a storm. I open my mac and say: “Gotta go check on “my Baby” and her Mommy and the rest of their household”! Oh, sweet girl, you are getting bigger and more beautiful in every post. Do you ever feel me rub your cheek? Or, tickle your tiny toes? It just feels like I can actually feel you, with the way your Mommy (and, You, too!!) write. I was so happy that your Mommy took a minute to send me an email awhile back, to tell me that it’s okay to be a “crazy Jesus freak” person. Now, those are MY words, not hers. She was really sweet!
Some days are harder than others, right? It’s that way for me, too. I have a tumor on my brain stem and some days I feel yucky. But, I always want to come see you! You inspire me, Nora. Your family inspires me. I feel Peace and Love here at “I Will Carry You”. And, on the really difficult days, your beautiful smile takes my mind off of the pain. I just wanted to share that with you, Little One. How I wish I could meet you in person. I’d hold you close and give you a ride in my wheelchair! My nephew, Finn, laughs a big tummy laugh when we do that. Actually, it was only one time. He came to MN. from PA. for Thanksgiving 2011 and his Mommy & Daddy & big sister and brother came over to visit for about 20 minutes. That was the first time I met him. He was only 7 months old then. But, he liked racing his brother & sister down the long hallway of my apt. bldg.. Guess who won the race? Yep! Finn and Aunt Jo! I don’t think he’ll ever be afraid of people in wheelchairs!
I need to go now, Nora. But, I’ll be back soon. Give your Mommy a hug for me, okay? And, tell Gavin and Greta “Happy Birthday” from me. Oh, one more thing… ask your Mommy if I could “borrow” a photo of you. I would like to do a blog post and let people know about the precious baby girl, who brightens my life! And, I just know that they will say lots of prayers for you, too!
I Love You, Sweet Pea!
God Bless You and your family ~ “Auntie Jo”
(I hope it’s okay to consider myself as your Honorary Auntie.)
