It was the first day of school for the big kids. Unfortunately, Greta had some belly issues, do she missed her first day.
It was nice to have an extra day with just the girls, however.
I think Greta is ready to start tomorrow! I hope! She was very upset to have missed her first day!!!!
The above picture of sweet Nora is about how I feel right now after our 4 mile walk this evening! It’s been long day and I’m calling it a night!

GAVIN SURE LOOKS HANDSOME FOR HIS FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL. HOPEFULLY GRETA WILL BE FEELING BETTER TOMORROW AND WILL BE ABLE TO GET HER FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL IN FOR THIS YEAR. I LOVE THAT PICTURE OF GRETA AND NORA, YOU HAVE SUCH BEAUTIFUL GIRLS. I AM READY FOR BED ALSO. IT IS 12:45 HERE, SO IT IS EARLY FOR ME TO GO TO BED, BUT FOR SOME REASON I HAVE BEEN VERY TIRED TODAY. SLEPT IN THIS MORNING, TOOK AN AFTERNOON NAP, AND NOW READY FOR BED. GUESS THAT IS PART OF BEING RETIRED, CAN REST WHENEVER I FEEL LIKE IT. SOMETIMES I THINK TOO MUCH REST MAKES ME MORE TIRED. I BET NORA LIKED HAVING HER BIG SISTER TO HERSELF TODAY. THEY BOTH LOOKED PRETTY HAPPY. PRAY YOU ALL GET A GOOD NIGHT’S SLEEP, AND WAKE UP IN THE MORNING ALL RESTED AND READY FOR A REALLY GOOD DAY.
