The entire extended family is back safe in their respective homes, hopefully enjoying a good night’s rest after their long drive today. I picked up Gavin & Greta from Nana & Papa’s this evening and had dinner with them. We determined that we already miss each other and talked at length about plans for next year’s Michigan trip. It’s always a bit of a transition for us to get back to “life as usual” after having been living together for the whole week. I love those people like mad!
Nora had a really good day today! She’s been eating her new soy milkies like a seasoned pro without any excessive fussiness and even made some more pretty smiles at us. I have video footage, but it’s on William’s phone. I will have to post it tomorrow as William and his phone have retired for the night.

Ahhh. There is my mobile!

I make pretty smiles!

Mmmm. Soy milkies. That's what I like.
And now I’m off to sleep too while Little Miss is sleeping! Thank you for your prayers, especially for travel safety for my family. And thank you for all of your encouragement and advice regarding Nora’s fussiness and feedings! Kind of makes me wish I would have blogged when Gavin & Greta were babies (Colic-palooza)!! I will most certainly explore the possibility of reflux and perhaps invest in some new bottles! You’re all awesome, and I am so thankful for you!
Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times and in every way. The Lord be with all of you.
(2 Thessalonians 3:16 NIV)
She is so dang cute!!! I can’t wait to meet you guys!
I love her smile! So glad everybody is home, safe & sound!
The Pretty Smiles pic just made my day! We returned home from church just now to rush to get our daily dose of Nora! My kids adore her. They say “sweet Nora by Grandma’s house” since my parents live nearby you. Today I taught a sunday school lesson to our kids at church about Miracles with the 2 fish and 5 loaves… John 6:1-21 … All I could think of is your amazing Nora! and how we are blessed with gifts everywhere that we cannot comprehend. Today, it was fun to watch the children’s excitement as we re-enacted the story. The innocent children did not require logic to understand the miracle, they just believed! I pray that we can all have the hearts of these kids and just believe and trust in God that he will provide. Thank you for your daily messages. Your family is an inspiration to our house down in South Carolina! We celebrate your miracle every day when we check your blog and pray for your family and doctors.
I AM SO GLAD EVERYONE IS SAFE AND SOUND BACK HOME. IT IS ALWAYS NICE TO GET AWAY FOR A FEW DAYS, BUT EVEN NICER TO GET BACK HOME. WHEN WE GO AWAY, AS WE PULL IN OUR DRIVEWAY, I USUALLY SAY “HOME SWEET HOME”. I AM SO THANKFUL THAT NORA ADJUSTED TO SOY MILKIES SO QUICKLY. OUR OLDER SON, WHICH IS NOW 46, HAD TO BE PUT ON SOY MILK BECAUSE OF BELLY ACHES AND GAS, IT WORKED. I LOVE THE PICTURE OF NORA WITH THAT BEAUTIFUL SMILE. IT MADE ME SMILE JUST LOOKING AT IT. I PRAY SOME DAY I WILL BE SO FORTUNATE AS TO MEET YOU AND YOUR FAMILY. I THANK GOD THAT YOU ARE CALMER AND A LITTLE LESS WORRIED. SO HAPPY YOU AND WILLIAM ARE A BIT MORE RESTED. LOVE YOU ALL. GOD BLESS.
