Nora – 59 Days Old

image

We love because he first loved us. (1 John 4:19)

Thank you so much for all of the encouragement and advice regarding Nora’s lungs! I hooked her up to the pulsox machine a few times throughout the day just to make sure she was still okay with the ¼ liter. Each time she passed with flying colors whether she was awake, eating, or sleeping! I’m so proud of her!!

I didn’t get many pictures today (or sweet videos) for some reason, but the above is officially from today! I’ll be sure to take a bunch tomorrow to make up for today.

  1. It is a small world. I somehow saw your amazing birth video that your photographer friend put together, I think maybe someone I know shared it on fb. I was so touched and cried while I watched. So I have been following your blog and sharing your journey with my biblestudy group of moms. One of my dear friends in my bible study just told me this week that she finally had time to read about your journey and she told me that while reading she figured out that one of her good friends is your good friend. My friend’s name is Julie Rocco Zyskowski. She said she had met you years ago at your mutual friend’s wedding (Maggie maybe is who she said knows you) Anyway I wanted to reach out and let you know I have been so moved by your story and I have been praying for you and your family. You are a wonderful writer and mother and it is amazing that you are in the thick of this and can so clearly see God’s hand in it. I loved your story about the baby bird, God knew exactly who was going to be the best mother for Nora. I do not have a blog but am on fb if you would ever want to look me up. Kellyn Feeney Donnelly. I will continue to keep you in my prayers. God Bless!

  2. I’m delighted to hear that Nora is holding her own with the oxygen levels reduced! That seems like positive growth to me. 🙂 I hope your theory is correct and that her lung problem will self correct. 🙂 She’s sure growing!

  3. This evening I found your blog for the first time and read through each post. I am so touched by Nora and your precious family. As I scrolled through each day’s blog, the bottom of my screen constantly said “Iwillcarryyou”. I was reminded that, in the same way you chose to carry your precious little girl, God promises to do the same for you! That is also His promise to you! Hang in there, and continue to rest in the strong and loving arms of the One who will carry you!

  4. Sweetie I have been following you since you were born. You are one of Gods most beautiful miracles. I look forward to updates on your progress everyday. Watching you strengthens my faith. You and your family are in my daily prayers.

  5. LOVE THE PICTURE OF MOMMY AND NORA. YOU LOOK SO RESTED AND SOOOOO PROUD. I AM SO HAPPY FOR ALL OF YOUR FAMILY. NORA IS SUCH A BLESSING TO MORE PEOPLE THAN I HAVE EVER SEEN ONE PERSON TO BE. SHE HAS BROUGHT PEOPLE BACK TO BEING CLOSE TO GOD EVEN. SHE IS A REAL “LITTLE GIRL” BUT A BIG PROPHET OF GOD. THANK YOU GOD FOR FINDING THE PERFECT FAMILY FOR NORA ROSE. AND THANK YOU ALEISA FOR SHARING DAILY THIS BLESSING WITH ALL OF US. WHEN I WAS GONE THESE PAST FEW DAYS VISITING MY SISTER, I MISSED MY DAILY DOSE OF PURE LOVE, TO ME THAT IS WHAT YOUR BLOG TRULY IS. LOVE YOU ALL.

  6. I am on vacation but sure glad that little Nora is following me via e-mail. The pictures of her in her tub are precious and she sure looks like she is enjoying it for sure. Prayers daily are for you. Thanks for your dedication in keeping all of us posted and up to date. jb
