Just another nice and relaxing day with lots of sweet moments…

We’re trying Nora on Zantac to see if that helps her with any reflux that might be going on. Maybe someday we’ll figure out the exact type of formula, bottle, medicine combination that works for her… I was relieved to find that she’ll at least take the Zantac without any troubles. I tried to give that stuff to Greta when she was a tiny fuss machine. Greta did NOT like the taste of that stuff and would’ve kicked me in the teeth if she knew how.

Speaking of Greta… Greta was very sad to have parted with Henrietta Pussycat this evening.

There, there, now, now!!

Henrietta found a new home with Stacie,
Aaron, Lexie and Heidi and is now known as Lily! Greta misses that sweeeet kitten, but was very happy to get a text message from Lily right as she was getting ready for bed! Thank you, Stacie, Aaron, Lexie and Heidi for giving Lily a good home!! We know you’ll take good care of her!!

And the day concluded with a beautiful sunset – even if it was just over some trees instead of Lake Huron!

Can all your worries add a single moment to your life?
And why worry about your clothing? Look at the lilies of the field and how they grow. They don’t work or make their clothing, yet Solomon in all his glory was not dressed as beautifully as they are. And if God cares so wonderfully for wildflowers that are here today and thrown into the fire tomorrow, he will certainly care for you. Why do you have so little faith?
(Matthew 6:27-30 NLT)

  1. I know that prayer in both Spanish & Latin, but loved reading it in English.
Lol, in the pic Nora is thinking ” oohh, I want a Nintendo DS when I’m older!!. Put it on the wish list, Mommy.”.
    Big kiss. Muac

  2. LOVE ALL THE PICTURES OF THE FAMILY. GRETA SHARING HER GAME WITH NORA IS SO CUTE. GAVIN TAKING CARE OF NORA IS VERY TOUCHING, AND HE IS SO SWEET. I LOVE THE WAY NORA IS RESTING ON DADDY’S CHEST. SHE LOOKS VERY COMPHY. I AM GLAD THE KITTY FOUND A GOOD HOME, BUT FELT BAD FOR GRETA. SHE WAS CRYING SO HARD, BUT DADDY WAS COMFORTING HER. THE SUNSET WAS BEAUTIFUL, AND WHAT A WAY TO END A DAY!! GLAD YOU SAW YOUR 3 BIRDS TODAY, EVEN IF ONLY IN A BOOK. GOD HAS SENT YOU THE 3 BIRDS IN SO MANY DIFFERENT WAYS, PRAISE GOD. PRAY YOU ALL GET A GOOD NIGHT’S SLEEP, AND TOMORROW FINDS EVERYONE FEELING REALLY GOOD. LOVE AND PRAYERS. GOOD NIGHT AND GOD BLESS.

  3. I hope the Zantac helps. If she ends up not wanting to take it, I used to mix my daughter’s in a small syringe with a little bit of her formula then give it to her that way. Zantc changed our lives, I hope it makes a difference for you.

  4. Hey, is that a dragonfly in the second picture? Dragonflies are my “3 birds”!
Sweet Greta is breaking my heart :(
Lots of love and prayers for all of you <3

  5. I have had all four of my kiddo’s on reflux meds. If she does start to show issues- get the Zantac flavored Grape. It masks the mint taste the best and I had much more success getting it in!

  6. My oldest had to take Zantac as an infant. We had the pharmacy flavor it to help with the taste and it seemed to work. Hope it helps, I know it worked miracles for us!

  7. if the zantac doesn’t work, ask to try previcid. We had much mor eluck with previcid than the zantac and a couple of other mamas i have talked to had the same excperience!
